Hey what’s up guys it’s Geena the
Latina!
People always ask me where my name came from.
Well a good friend of mine and radio DJ back in LA Dave Styles gave me the name.
He said that that’s what I was; Geena and
Latina! Once people started calling me that it just kind of stuck.
I started my career as a street team member at 102.7 KIIS FM Los Angeles.
From there I moved up to the Friday Night Party show hosted by former Lighter Shade of Brown member ODM, and then became the red-carpet reporter for the "JoJo on the Radio Show" which ultimately landed me the gig here in
San Diego; which I love!
People always ask me, “How do you do it?
How do you wake up so early every morning?”
Well it’s easy if you’re doing something you love!
I get to laugh all morning with some of my best friends.
It doesn’t get much better than that right?
Anyway, I feel very blessed to be living in
San Diego doing what I love to do.
San Diego has been very good to me.
I think I have two personalities.
I can very much do the whole Hollywood thing (clubs, red-carpets, etc) but I also love to just stay at home on a Friday night, watch TV and order pizza (with ranch of course)!
I love my family with all my heart.
My niece and nephew are my pride and joy.
My brothers are my heroes.
I can also say that I have an extended family which I adore; my very ver ood friends.
I honestly feel blessed and know that I have been given a lot in my young life.
I couldn’t be more excited to be where I am right now.
